Parade Registration Information - 2010
The Washington DC Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Committee invites your organization to participate in our annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Washington, DC.
This year the Parade will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at 12:00 Noon, and will proceed down Constitution Avenue from 7th to 17th Streets, N.W., in our Nation’s Capital. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the best attended parades in Washington. We award trophies in several categories.
You will not have to contend with mid-week traffic and scheduling problems, since we march on Sunday. The Parade is limited to 2 ½ hours, so no unit will be subject to a very long wait in the staging area. The average Washington temperature in mid-March is 50-55 degrees, though we have had some blustery days. Our Nation’s Capital is a beautiful place to visit and our early spring date provides you with a great opportunity to start the season in style.
To apply to participate in the parade, you should complete the application (found below). Whether submitted electronically or by regular mail, your application should be completed as quickly as possible to ensure consideration in this year's parade. It is very important that your application include a brief one-paragraph description of your unit. If you are submitting a paper application, use the back of the form; if by email, include the description in the message. What you write will be announced to all who are watching the parade from the reviewing stand. If you have an email address, please include it on your application.
If you have questions regarding the application process, please send email to webmaster@dcstpatsparade.com, and you will receive a prompt reply.

Please review the Parade Policies and Rules. Violation of these policies will result in immediate ejection from the parade.
We are no longer accepting participant applications for this year's parade.
