The Parade will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 12:00 Noon, and will proceed down Constitution Avenue from 7th to 17th Streets, N.W., in our Nation’s Capital. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the best attended parades in Washington.
You will not have to contend with mid-week traffic and scheduling problems, since we march on Sunday. The Parade is limited to 2 ½ hours. The average Washington temperature in mid-March is 50-55 degrees, though we have had some blustery days.
Grandstand tickets are available. The grandstands are a great way to watch the parade. They are located adjacent to the judge's reviewing stand. This guarantees that performing groups will not just pass you by - you'll get to see them at their best, performing for the judges. And you'll get to watch from a comfortable, elevated, vantage point with nearby restroom facilities.
Our Nation’s Capital is a beautiful place to visit and our early spring date provides you with a great opportunity to start the season in style. Why not join us in the spring of 2010!
